(Chenopodium )

This small seed captivates those who bet on a natural and organic diet. It provides as much energy and fiber as whole grains, very complete vegetable proteins and an exceptional amount of minerals.

Its crunchy grains, light yellow in color, have a delicate flavor halfway between rice and couscous, and have the virtue of not tiring the palate or "cleaning" it of other more intense flavors. Once made, they remain loose, shiny, and their spiral germ gives them an original presence that gives recipes a lot of personality.

This magnificent superfood is well known for its macronutrients, essential amino acids and rich carbohydrates. It is also high in micronutrients, including Omega 3 and 6; minerals, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus and zinc; and vitamins, B complex and vitamin E.

Peruvian resource

We source our organic quinoa from our associated small farmers in Pampas – Huancavelica (2,600 m.a.s.l.) and Huanta – Ayacucho (3,200 m.a.s.l.), Perú. We also have specialized partner farmers in Puno – Puno, Perú. Farmers harvest the crop under the organic production system.
